Uratida Mirzamova, soprano

Bolshoi Young Artist Studio student, Utarida Mirsamova was born in Kazan. After graduating from the secondary school, she studied biology at the Kazan State University and at the same time voice at a music college. After completing her vocal studies in 2014, she enrolled to study at the Musical Theatre Department of the Russian University of Dramatic Arts (GITIS), the workshop of Dmitry Bertman where she has been studying voice with Emma Tigranova. From 2016 Utarid has been an artist of the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre where she studies voice with Makvala Kasrashvili, Svetlana Nesterenko and Dmitri Vdovin. During her time at the Bolshoi Program, she performed in chamber music concerts with Semyon Skigin, Larisa Gergieva, Giulio Zappa and Liubov Orfenova.
